Cookie Policy

Last Updated: July 6, 2026 · Effective as of the date of publication on the Site

This Cookie Policy explains how Hold On World, operated by Anette Erazo (Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador), uses cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar tracking technologies (collectively, "Cookies") on holdonworld.shop (the "Site"). This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which it supplements and into which it is incorporated by reference.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites function, to make them work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the owners of the site and to third parties. Pixels (also called "tracking pixels" or "web beacons") are small pieces of code embedded in web pages or emails that allow a third party to record that you viewed a page or performed an action, such as completing a purchase.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These Cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They are set by our e-commerce platform, Shopify, and are required to operate core functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, and account security. Because these Cookies are essential, they do not require your consent, although you may block them through your browser settings at the risk of the Site not functioning correctly.

2.2 Analytics Cookies

Provider: Google Analytics (Google LLC).

These Cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so that we can measure and improve the performance of the Site. They help us know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the Site in the aggregate. All information these Cookies collect is aggregated and, therefore, anonymous or pseudonymous for our purposes.

2.3 Advertising and Retargeting Cookies

Providers: Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and TikTok Pixel (TikTok Inc.).

These Cookies are set through the Site by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (for example, by recording when a purchase originated from an ad you clicked). They do not directly store personal information such as your name or address, but they are based on uniquely identifying your browser or device.

4. How We Use Cookies

To keep items in your shopping cart as you browse the Site.

To remember your preferences between visits.

To understand, in the aggregate, which pages and products generate the most interest.

To measure whether an advertisement you saw on Meta or TikTok resulted in a visit to the Site or a purchase.

To build lookalike or retargeting advertising audiences on Meta and TikTok based on your prior interaction with the Site (for example, showing an ad to people who viewed a product but did not purchase it).

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several ways to control or limit how we and our partners use Cookies:

5.1 Browser Controls

Most web browsers allow you to refuse or delete Cookies through their settings. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions (commonly found under Settings > Privacy). Please note that blocking strictly necessary Cookies may prevent the Site's cart and checkout functions from working correctly.

5.2 Opting Out of Advertising Cookies Directly With Providers

Meta: manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads or through the "Ad Preferences" section of the Meta Accounts Center.

TikTok: manage your ad preferences through the "Personalized Ads" setting in the TikTok app or at TikTok's Privacy Center.

Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available from Google.

5.3 Industry Opt-Out Tools

You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at once through the Digital Advertising Alliance's consumer choice tool (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page (optout.networkadvertising.org).

5.4 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal or the Global Privacy Control (GPC). Because there is no common industry standard for how businesses should respond to these signals, the Site does not currently respond differently based on the receipt of such a signal, other than as separately described for California residents in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including to reflect the addition or removal of advertising and analytics partners. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
